Tiny TherapistSpace to be yourself

COUNSELLING WITH NERINE

Therapy shaped around you.

You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong or what you need before starting counselling. I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where we can begin with what’s happening for you and explore it together.

I work pluralistically, which means I can draw on different approaches rather than expecting one way of working to suit everyone.

You may have something specific you want to talk about, or simply a sense that things don’t feel quite right. We can start wherever you are, even if it’s difficult to put into words.

SOME OF THE THINGS WE CAN EXPLORE

Whatever brings you here, we can start with where you are.

Anxiety, stress & overwhelm

Anxiety, worry, burnout, health anxiety or the feeling that everyday life has simply become too much.

How you feel about yourself

Low confidence, low self-esteem, perfectionism or patterns that leave you questioning yourself.

Relationships, loss & change

Family difficulties, separation, divorce, bereavement, loneliness or experiences that have affected how you relate to others.

I also work with people navigating the pressures of parenting, family relationships, separation and divorce, including the experiences of parents and carers supporting neurodivergent family members.

A WIDER RANGE OF SUPPORT

People come to counselling for many different reasons.

I also work with people experiencing addiction, ADHD, autism, bullying, the pressures of caring for others, depression, emotional abuse, OCD, phobias and other concerns.

You don’t need to see your experience listed here to get in touch.

A FLEXIBLE APPROACH

Different ways of working, chosen around you.

Different people find different things helpful, and that can change over time. We can talk about what you would like from counselling and draw on different approaches in a way that feels useful to you.

Person-centred therapy

You guide what we talk about. I listen and try to understand your experiences from your perspective, without judgement.

Humanistic therapy

Considering you as a whole person — your experiences, relationships and how you see yourself — rather than focusing only on a particular difficulty.

Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)

Looking at how thoughts, feelings and behaviour affect each other, and exploring patterns or practical ways of responding to everyday difficulties.
