Counselling in Harlow, Essex & online

A space to talk. A chance to feel truly heard.

Hello, I'm Nerine, the person behind Tiny Therapist. I believe the relationship you build with your counsellor really matters. I bring warmth, curiosity and the occasional bit of humour to our conversations, because counselling doesn't always have to feel formal.

A little about me

Therapy starts with a human connection.

I came to counselling after many years working as a teacher, where I valued getting to know people and understanding their different experiences.

My own experience of counselling also played an important part in my decision to become a therapist. Today, I value the trust people place in me and the opportunity to work together as they make sense of their lives.

What brings you here?

A few things you might wonder

Before we talk.

What does “pluralistic” mean?

It simply means there isn’t one approach that works for everyone. We can draw on different ways of working and shape our sessions around you, what you’re experiencing and what feels helpful.

Do I need to know what to say?

Not at all. You can start wherever feels right. You don’t need to have everything worked out or know exactly how to describe what you’re feeling. We can take it from there together.

Can we meet online?

Yes. I offer counselling in person in Harlow, as well as online and by phone. We can talk about what would feel most comfortable for you during your introductory call.
